English USA presents a new webinar:
Why You Need To Care and What You Can Do About It: Supporting Our Students & Programs
Come join Mackenzie Kerby and Cheryl Delk-Le Good to this online session on the importance of advocating for our English language programs and international education as a whole. “Advocating” is just a fancy word for educating and supporting! And you are all good at it in the in-person and virtual classroom, but it’s time to make our voices louder and clearer in our communities/institutions as well as at the state and national level.
At the end of this session participants will be able to:
-understand how professional associations advocate for their members
-identify the top issues impacting our English language programs and students
-complete three advocacy tasks that take less than 10 minutes
Our voices, through our associations, can be united and amplified, but it starts at the individual commitment to international education and to the support of students on their paths to learning English–and beyond!
