Belgium English Language Teachers’ Association (BELTA) and TESL Toronto have joined forces for a summer web conference focused on Assessment in Language Teaching, taking place August 7-8, 2015.
Plenary speakers for the event include Jeremy Harmer and Luke Meddings.
Jeremy is one of the most well known names in English language teaching and has written coursebooks, methodology titles and graded readers. He currently works as an online tutor for the MATESOL at The New School, New York, and has spoken at conferences the world over.
Luke is an ELT teacher, author and teacher trainer. He was a co-founder with Scott Thornbury of the dogme in ELT movement, and their award-winning book Teaching Unplugged was published in 2009. He was Deputy Editor of EL Gazette, wrote a monthly teaching column for the Guardian online, and co-founded the round with Lindsay Clandfield in 2011.
