MIDTESOL uses a variety of media. Besides following or liking us at the accounts below, search #MIDTESOL for general news or information about our organization. Search #MIDTESOL16 for conference-related updates.
- Bring Your Own Device – EdTech Bazaar – One special feature of #MIDTESOL16 is the inaugural EdTech Bazaar. As technology use is increasingly integrated with language teaching, educators need hands-on, professional learning opportunities. The format of the EdTech Bazaar is small-group demonstrations by educators with experience integrating technology in a language education setting. From smartphones to laptops, participants bring their own devices (#BYOD) so they can test the tool or technique during the demonstration. For more information on the EdTech Bazaar, read the weekly feature written by EdTech Interest Section Co-Chairs, Summer Peixoto and Katie McClintic.
To facilitate ease of technology use at the conference, free WiFi is being provided for conference attendees. So #BYOD, join in the #MIDTESOL16 conversation now on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, and get all the details you need from the conference website!
