Initial annual contract with option for renewal includes paid vacations, medical insurance, work visa sponsorship and teacher training. Depending on applicant’s work experience, academic background, type of courses assigned, job performance etc., average salaries vary between the yen equivalent of about $30,000 to $45,000. An assessment of any candidate’s English Language proficiency may be required as part of the hiring process.
