The second annual MIDTESOL Iowa Winter Workshop is happening on Friday, February 9, 2018 in Iowa City at the Old Capitol Mall on the campus of University of Iowa. This is a free event for MIDTESOL members.
What is the MIDTESOL Iowa Winter Workshop?
This is a chance for MIDTESOL members who proposed a presentation for TESOL to practice their presentation before the big conference in March. Please note, however, that anyone can sign up to present. Presentation slots are not exclusively for those who were approved or submitted a proposal for TESOL.
The MIDTESOL Winter Workshop is a great opportunity for K-12, Community College, IEP, and Higher Education ELL professionals to come together for a free professional development that is inspired and created by our colleagues. The variety of presentations will appeal to professionals in all intersection committees. There will also be a K-12 “unconference” session and digital lesson plan swap.
Last year we had 20 presenters and nearly 75 attendees come to a great day of learning, collaboration and networking. We know that this year will be even more exciting now that the word has spread about how successful last year was. We are looking forward to your involvement and participation.
