FIVE locations. ONE day of powerful learning.
EdCampIowa is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 8:30AM-3:30PM.
EdCamp sessions are NOT ‘sit and get’ presentations. EdCamps are about discussion and thinking and problem-solving. Participants build the agenda first thing in the morning and then spend the rest of the day talking, sharing, and learning.
EdCampIowa is for educators, students, parents, board members, policymakers, community members, and anyone that cares about education. Laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other electronic devices are encouraged. Oh, and it’s FREE!
With 5 locations, EdCampIowa is the biggest EdCamp event in the country!
- Northeast – Western Dubuque High School (Epworth)
- Southeast – Iowa BIG / Iowa Startup Accelerator (Cedar Rapids)
- Northwest – Buena Vista University (Storm Lake)
- Southwest – Abraham Lincoln High School (Council Bluffs)
- Central – Ames Middle School (Ames)
Note: There will be MIDTESOL members at the Central location in Ames, but feel free to attend whichever location is best for you.
