“When I was invited to create a piece of artwork for the 2022 MIDTESOL conference, I immediately knew my response to the theme 'Emerging Stronger: Leading Positive Change in ELT Education' needed to be something joyful and vibrant. I decided that Monarch butterflies were a perfect match: their process of metamorphosis and complex migration patterns echo the sentiments of positive transformation and resiliency at the core of this year’s conference theme.”
