Learning English has long been seen as a priority for many immigrants. But what role should the federal government play in legislating English as an official language? This site is designed to explore the issue of English Only in America with emphasis on issues relevant to members of Mid-TESOL and residents of the states that organization represents: Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa.
